ONE: Statement Walls in Powder Rooms (via Elle Decor)

Everyone loves to add a pop of color, but what about a pop of pattern?! The Bee’s are totally on board with this trend, adding a statement wallcovering in a Powder Room. "Powder rooms have always been a place to add high drama to a small space, but now oversized floral wall prints and pattern-on-pattern are feeling very of-the-moment, particularly in bold, bright colors." — Carolyn Pressly We couldn’t agree more! Show of hands, who would love to see the classic Chiang Mai Dragon by Schumacher in a Powder Room?

TWO: Expose Your Hardware (via House Beautiful)

This trend is a comeback from vintage homes where exposed piping was typical. And as we’ve seen in fashion, vintage looks are getting their turn in the spotlight! Using a brass or burnished bronze is a fun way to make a statement without overpowering your space. (Design by Nicole Franzen)

THREE: Art Deco Influences (via Elle Decor)

Another vintage comeback is the Art Deco style, especially in bathtub and sink basins. "I'm seeing a lot of Deco influences taking shape in gorgeous new bathtubs from Waterworks and Kohler. The Empire is a personal favorite. Nods to old-world craftsmanship coming back in a big way!" (Ariel Okin) We love working with Waterworks in Boston and we also love using Kohler in our clients’ homes. And who wouldn’t want to soak in that tub?!

THREE: Vintage Accessories (via RenoAssistance Blog)

Noticing a trend yet? VINTAGE! The idea here is not focusing on the plumbing fixtures, but on the decor itself. Try a vintage tile or an antique sconce. Whether or not it’s authentic is up to you - but having a throwback style certainly adds a chic level of charm.

FOUR: Make A Statement With Your Mirror (via House Beautiful)

Add some pizzazz with a unique mirror. It could be an antique mirror found at a flea market or a new, asymmetrical mirror with an interesting frame. Either way, a fun mirror definitely catches your eye.

FIVE: Blend Farmhouse with Modern (via House Beautiful)

The current Farmhouse trend that began a few years ago is getting a bit of an upgrade by blending it with modern textures and surfaces. We’re loving the look of this contemporary bathroom with a classic Farmhouse feel.
