Why Grasscloth Is Your New Bestie

What the heck is grasscloth, you ask? Time to open up your world to some amazing new products….

Grasscloth is a beautiful substrate that can not only be used on walls but as a furniture wrap! We’ve also used it as a backing to a bookcase - the opportunities are endless!

AS A WALLCOVERING

Our favorite way to use grasscloth is as a wallcovering. When a client is looking for a sophisticated, yet soft, textural feel, we immediately look to grasscloth. Gone are the days of boring and neutral, tan grasscloth is rich and textural, anything but boring! Grasscloth can come in a variety of colors as well, adding a wonderful texture as well as a pop of color!

There are so many different grasscloth options - and not just solid colors! One of our favorites is Twiggy Sisal by Schumacher (below). This wallpaper is so versatile, we would love to see this in a powder room to give an elegant punch or in a dining room to immediately elevate the design to the next luxury level, think of it as an art installation.
