Teamwork

Today we are sharing a video which summarizes the journey of an amazing full first floor renovation (if you love HGTV “before and afters” you MUST watch this)! It probably sounds dorky but I get quite emotional upon viewing our project videos for the first time. We truly invest our heart and soul into all of these projects and we obsess over every tiny detail. So to see it all come together is SWEET! There is so much that goes into a project of this scale and we have soooo many amazing teammates to thank!

The first shout out goes to Kyle Caldwell and his team. We love working with Kyle, he pours his heart and soul into his work. He really worked his magic in capturing the story of this renovation, from beginning to end.

For this project we worked with Claudette Andrews at Westborough Design Center. Claudette, her brother Andy and team were a joy to work with. The process was fun and collaborative, as it should be, thank you! They did all the heavy lifting and made it look easy!

We shopped and sourced all over that map. Some of the fabric manufacturers we used include Schumacher, Kravet, Pindler, Thibaut, Samuel & Sons and more! Furniture manufacturers include; Century, Hickory, Theodore Alexander, Bungalow 5 ... All of the lovely drapes, window treatments, cushions and pillows were supplied by Kendra Weldon of Simply Windows (see photos below). Kendra is based here in Hopkinton! Much of the decorative lighting was sourced from Visual Comfort, seen throughout.

We used many talented local vendors as well. Design Upholstery of Framingham created a custom ottoman for the study (see below), a custom storage ottoman for the sunroom, and reupholstered some of the clients existing furnishings. Steven King from the Boston Design center, thank you Joe, supplied most of the gorgeous area rugs (see below)!

For all those fun and distinctive pieces and layers we shopped at some of our favorite local haunts such as Avenue C in Framingham where we found the great sideboard, see blog here. Our talented friends at Art Applications in Boston transformed the piece, and also created a wonderful custom coffee table for the family room. A great looking piece that will withstand heavy traffic and use! Another artistic friend, Michele from Vintage Furniture Reclaimed reinvented our clients entertainment cabinet! We also found, per usual, some really great treasures at Ramble Market in Waltham. On the way home from Ramble we frequently stop at Stone Gate Gardens in Lincoln, a must see for those that have never been! There we found great planters, greens and more.

We sourced art from all over creation and mixed new pieces in with our client’s existing pieces. We found some great botanicals at Uttermost (above) and other To the Trade sources. Some of our favorite artists and pieces can be found here…Kelly Mason Brookes, Kim Stenberg. We also personalized the space with family photos throughout, all of which help to tell the story of this wonderful family. Again, details really do count!

A big thank you to Marcin and his team at M&M Moving and Storage out of Ashland. They consistently provide great care and service to us and our clients!

Last but not least, our heartfelt thanks goes to our wonderful clients. We so appreciate the trust and confidence you placed in us and all of our teammates, thank you! What a journey this has been, here’s to years of happy memories and enjoyment in your lovely new home!
