Wellesley Kitchen and Home Tour - That’s a Wrap!
As we teased a few weeks ago, we were invited to sponsor a beloved event through the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club. The WHJWC is a volunteer organization dedicated to community service. Their fundraisers aid local scholarship funds, along with many area charitable organizations. The Bees sponsored a patio design for the Wellesley Kitchen and Home Tour. And we were granted a very generous donation from the TJX Corp, thank you! We sourced all the amazing outdoor furnishings right in our backyard, at our local Framingham Home Sense!
Susan O’Bell, one of WHJWC’s event co-chairs sent us a quick snapshot and rough dimensions of the space (note the sun: the first sighting all spring….anyone reading this in warm weather, please send sun our way ;-P)

The space had great bones, and included a beautiful antique dining table, score! Other than keeping the wood pile in place, we were free to do as we wished. Thanks to the generosity of TJX we were able to pull together a great outdoor living area!
BONUS, we were delighted to meet lots of local talent. We were paired with garden designer extraordinaire, Suze Nock of Susan Nock Garden Design. Suze specializes in container gardens and GARDEN COACHING, brilliant idea! We suspect Suze could stay busy until the “cows come home” guiding the garden challenged!
Such a fun collaboration amongst “birds of a feather.” Suze “finished” the space brilliantly. And she travels with a garden in her car. No joke - check out her Tetris-packing ability below. She is really smart too, she would not let Mary carry her antique cloche, shhh!
Next stop… Homesense! The store manager, Sophie was fantastic and so helpful. In under two hours we had everything we needed and then some! So many stylish, unique items - all under one roof! We were able to source all of the important elements. Check out our shopping trip below.
Our awesome haul included two large rugs, an entire patio set and some gorgeous styling accessories! And we had some amazing helpers. M&M Storage and Moving came to our rescue and transported all of our goodies to their final destination!
ANNNNND show day arrives! Great teamwork was employed by all and within two hours we were show house ready! The lack of sun and warmth did not diminish the glow of this amazing home and team, all went off without a hitch!
See how Suze worked her magic and helped make the space sing!

Here’s a few more behind-the-scenes photos, including Suze’s antique cloche (drooling over that piece!).
Comment below if you were there on Saturday and froze your booties off!!! Shout out to all the volunteers who were so wonderful throughout the entire day! And a very big thank you to Home Sense and TJX Corp!
